Vice President
David is responsible for developing new business, retaining and expanding business with our existing customers, establishing organizational policies and procedures, and directing planning activities. Further, David also builds and trains IKM’s sales and operations staff. Together, he and his team offer highly skilled expertise, delivering preventive maintenance solutions that help clients avoid costly breakdowns and extend equipment life.
Taking a collaborative approach, David works closely with customers to help find commercial energy, facilities, and maintenance solutions that best meet their unique requirements. His goal is to improve cost control and maximize return on facilities investment, while helping identify and project future capital expenditures.
David has been a part of the mechanical service industry for more than 35 years. He has extensive sales and operations expertise and first-hand experience providing solutions that help maintain and improve customer environments. Further, throughout his career he has been able to build and foster long-term, trusted relationships with many of our most important clients.
David studied general business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He was on the HVAC advisory board at Ferris State University and has served on the advisory board for Milwaukee Area Technical College. Additionally, David is a LEED-accredited professional through the U.S. Green Building Council.
An active member of the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA), he has served on the board of managers as treasurer, vice chairman, and national chairman and on the national marketing & education committees.
